Canadian Draughts
There are many draughts games, all of them with their own rules. Here are explained only the specific aspects of the this game. You can learn the rules that are common to all the draughts games at the Draughts games common characteristics and rules page.
Since this game is very similar to International Draughts, only the differences will be explained.
This variant is practised in the French-speaking area of Canada (it seems to be a direct evolution from International draughts).
Canadian draughts rules are exactly the same as International draughts. The only difference is that the board is 12x12, so each player starts with 30 men placed in the first 5 rows.
